Flicker Records hard music band Kids in the Way will be releasing their sophomore project, Apparitions of Melody, on May 10. Produced by Nathan Dantzler (Tree63, Staple, subseven) and Sam Shifley (Mortal Treason, Staple, subseven), Apparitions of Melody delivers the bandÕs edgy, high-energy sound while addressing relevant themes ranging from transience and metaphysical warfare to social injustice.

Kids in the Way frontman David Paul Pelsue comments, "The album is a lot deeper. In many ways, it's similar to what we've written before, but the lyrical content and musicianship are much stronger. We tapped into something more intense this time around."

Preceding Apparitions of Melody to retail outlets, the project's title track is currently spinning on Christian Rock radio stations nationwide. The band has also created a video for "Apparitions of Melody." Shot entirely against a green screen, this performance video is a unique blend of photographs and computer generated graphics. Less than two years since joining the Flicker Records roster, Indianapolis-based rock band Kids in the Way has made noteworthy headway in its promising career. Kids in the Way claimed a successful debut run with its first national record, Safe From the Losing Fight, in December 2003.
