Gospel music’s newest songwriter and recording artist, Kevin LeVar, is truly a man after God’s own heart. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Kevin is a very talented, passionate and sincere young man on a mission to reach the world through his debut project entitled, “Let’s Come Together.”
The message and sound of Kevin’s music will usher the listeners into an unforgettable worship experience that will certainly uplift, encourage, and inspire. His music will supercharge the atmosphere for the miraculous move of God bringing conviction, healing, deliverance and reconciliation.
Over the past few years, Kevin LeVar has been blessed to have been featured on several national and international television programs and recording projects with some of Gospel music’s greatest singers. Most recently, he wrote and performed the harmonious duet “Everything He Promised”, with Grammy Award winning artist, Dorinda Clark-Cole on her album, “The Rose of Gospel.” Additionally, he wrote and sang “Amazing God” with Stellar Award nominee, Pastor William Murphy, on Murphy’s latest CD, “The Sound.”
Cheryl Jackson, the 2008 Stellar Award winning Program Director of Heaven 1580 Radio Station in Washington, D.C., describes Kevin and his ministry as “…more than music…the prophetic voice of God…an anointed writer…an excellent psalmist.” She also states that an earlier piece written by Kevin entitled, “Good Things”, “is still one of the most requested songs in the D.C. area after seven years of rotation.”
