“We Live Praise” is not only the title of the new album by JayMay but also a statement as to how to live this life of faith and through Jesus Christ. Praise should not just be done at church but should carry on through out the rest of the week in our everyday lives. Through this album JayMay attempts to highlight and challenge listeners on how this praise can be accomplished.
JayMay is the owner and CEO of Double Edge Sword Records an independent label located in Colorado Springs, CO. Its current roster includes S.O.C.O.M., Da Clay, UnknowN and Ghostwriters. He’s performed not only in the U.S. but internationally as well in Germany, Iraq, and Italy. He’s had the privilege to share the stage with Lecrae, Kurtis Blow, Canton Jones, Rawsrvant, Urban D, and Mark J just to name a few. JayMay has experienced a degree of success with his song “Throw Em Off” being featured on the Holy Hip Hop Volume 5 compilation distributed by EMI Gospel.
His service extends beyond the music industry; he is also a Soldier in the U.S. Army, active in ministry at his local church, and a student at Colorado Christian University pursue a Bachelors Degree. He is also the co-founder of the annual event Midwest Music Fest which brings out artist throughout the country for an evening of live music, fellowship, and praise. By living praise and being an instrument for the purposes of God he is setting the steps in order for a bright future. |
