As part of the national “Hope & A Future Conference,” sponsored by the Anglican Communion Network (ACN), Israel and New Breed will put on a free concert in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 11.

The conference itself features a broad array of speakers including eight Archbishops from Africa, the West Indies and Southeast Asia along with Rick Warren, Anne Graham Lotz, Joni Eareckson Tada, Rev. Michael Green and Baroness Caroline Cox.

The group claims a personal connection to Pittsburgh through the Houghtons. During the 1970s, Bishop Joseph Garlington launched Covenant Church of
Pittsburgh in the home of Meleasa's parents. Israel has maintained a close mentoring relationship with Bishop Garlington, and he occasionally sings for
Covenant Church's special events.

The concert will take place at 7 p.m. at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center located at 1000 Fort Duquesne Boulevard. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
with general admission seating. Although the conference is a registered event, the concert is FREE and OPEN to the public as a gift from the ACN to
the Pittsburgh area.

Originally formed in the mid 90s by Israel Houghton, his wife Meleasa and their friend Aaron Lindsey, Israel and New Breed is a music ministry organization comprised of musicians and singers who serve within their respective churches and also tour extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad.
