Grammy Award winning singer Rebecca St. James will narrate an hour-long documentary to air this month and next month on NBC. "The Changing Face Of Worship" is a documentary that examines the challenge Christianity faces in attracting the MTV generation to the Church of the 21st century.
In "The Changing Face Of Worship" St. James' narrative takes viewers on a journey to introduce a new generation of "come as you are" Christianity--one that incorporates rock music, dance, film, poetry, painting, and scuplture into the experience of corporate worship. The documentary is a unique co-operative effort between the Southern Baptist Communication Group, the National Council Of Churches, The Jewish Theological Seminary, and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
