Hey, this is Chris. I was born in Jacksonville, Alabama on October 6, 1979. Being the son of a minister we moved a lot so I have lived in several different places; Alabama, Kentucky, Virginia, and North Carolina. Moving so often was sometimes difficult yet good for me in a way because I was able to meet a lot of different people and gather many interests. My parents bought me my first guitar when I was twelve and I've been hooked ever since. I graduated from a school in Durham, NC called Cresset Christian Academy. There I was involved in several sports along with playing music.

After high school I searched for what to do with my life in various places but God brought me to a small southern town where my parents had relocated; Morehead City, NC. It's a pretty nice place to live with its beautiful beaches and surfing (when Brandon can get me up early enough). My dad is now a teacher and high school basketball coach and my mom is a pre-school director. They are awesome parents who are very supportive of my dreams and aspirations. It is here that I met my fellow band mates Brandon, Josh, and Caleb and joined Allyson hymn. Shortly after that Decyfer was born. I know becoming a part of these three guys lives is a part of God's plan. We all have the same vision and are pouring our soul out to create uplifting music that has no boundaries and reaches audiences across the spectrum.

Hey I'm Josh,
My story started in 1980 in Miami FL. I was raised in a Christian home as a PK along with my sisters and bro. I started playing drums back when I was in 8th grade and was in a few bands in high school where I met up with Brandon and the rest is history. I'm really looking forward to the future as God shows us His plan. I pray that our music can impact you and show you how real God can be in your life.

This is Brandon; hope you guys enjoy the site. Just to let you know a little about myself, I was born in Morehead City, NC September 1, 1977. I always loved music, and started playing instruments at a young age. I played in several bands through out High School, but nothing ever clicked or seemed right. Growing up I realized God's love and grace in many areas of my life. I soon realized that God wanted to use the talent He had given me to tell of His truth and love. To lift people up and not tear them down it's been an interesting journey so far. I feel so blessed to be in a band with such great guys that have the same heart. I'm looking forward to the future and all the things in store for Decyfer. Thanks for your love and support.

Hey I'm Caleb, Thanks for coming to our site

My story started in Virginia. I was born in Norfolk, Grew up surrounded by a loving family.. I'm the middle of five kids. I owe so much to my Father and Mother for their love and support in my life. Musically, spiratually, so many ways my parents contributed in shaping me into who I am today. I started singing at the age of 2, dressed up in my little three piece, white suit... I was ready for action. There was always somewhere to sing or minister growing up being a pastor's kid. My older brother Josh was always beating on things whether it be tables, pots, pans, or oatmeal boxes, so being the younger brother I naturally joined him. I soon found myself playing percussion in a band with him back in the mid 90's It was amazing! We always had a jam session when we were together.Through the years we were in a couple bands together, thats when we met and started playing with Brandon In 1999. Our then bass player left and we found ourselves needing someone to carry the low end..So as we were changing our sound I picked up the bass and had a quick crash course. in 2002 we joined up with Chris cementing DECYFER DOWN into what it is today. To make a very long story short I am so blessed to be where I am today with the rest of the guys, we are ecstatic on the things the Lord has in store for us.. despite ourselves.
