Purple Door, the premier alternative arts and music festival on the east coast, announces a few last minute surprises for its 11th Annual event, to be held this Friday and Saturday at Ski Roundtop in Lewisberry, PA.
Already boasting a stellar lineup of nationally known artists including Relient K, Thousand Foot Krutch, mewithoutyou, Denison Witmer, Cool Hand Luke, Joy Electric, Showbread, Paramore, Copeland, Emery, The Choir and up-and-coming artists, such as Anathallo, August Burns Red, Last Tuesday and the Witalla Brothers, Purple Door has gone above and beyond by adding the Warehouse 54 stage, featuring Bernard, Gasoline Heart, Inhale Exhale and The Showdown. Artists added to the lineup on the three other stages include Lovedrug, Dead Poetic, Bradley Hathaway and fan-favorite, Norma Jean.
A series of seminars has also been added to the event. The seminars are: Good Art for God's (and our neighbor's) Sake: The High Calling of the Contemporary Artist in a Postmodern World, with Byron Borger, owner of Hearts and Minds Bookstore; Self-Esteem: What am I Worth?, with Julia Zulia from Decapolis.com; The Other Invisible Children, with Bryan Kemper, president of Stand True Ministries; and How Do I Discern God's Will?, with Conrad Tolosa, founder of Decapolis.com.
In addition, Purple Door is partnering with MonsterPod.org for exclusive behind the scenes coverage, artist interviews, daily updates and much more, which will also be archived on the site.
