There's no stopping the multi-talented singer and CEO, CeCe Winans. She ended 2006 with an amazing concert in South Africa with her brother BeBe and kicked off the New Year singing the National Anthem at the 73rd Annual NCAA Orange Bowl in Florida.
Winans was also recently honored at the 15th Annual Trumpet Awards in Las Vegas, NV for her lifetime achievements and contributions to the community. The two- hour ceremony will air on TV-One; Sunday, March 18th at 8:00p.m. (EST) with an encore showing at 10:00p.m. (EST).
Viewers can get a sneak peak of the honorees and special guests as they stroll the red-carpet during the pre-show special that's airing at 7:30p.m. (EST). Also, CeCe is featured in the Spring /Summer issue of Change Magazine, published by Atlanta based World Changers Int'l Ministries.
As we move into the second quarter, Winans' vision to make a difference in the lives of our youth continues to grow. She is now putting her focus on the 3rd Annual Girls Conference being held July 27th & 28th in the Curb Center at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Over 2500 gathered for the two day meeting last year, with more registrants anticipated in July. Kim Daniels, Nancy Alcorn, Jenetzen Franklin, Irishea Lewis Demetrus Stewart, Kiki Sheard and Joann Rosario are just a few guest speakers and singers that will join Winans for the event. Those interested in attending this year's conference can get more details by logging on to

Be on the look out for an 'Always Sisters" devotional book being released by Simon & Schuster/Howard Books on July 17th.
You would think with such a full plate, CeCe Winans couldn't possibly have time to do any more, but not so. Winans and her daughter, Ashley, will be launching a line of active wear called, Ashley Rose. The mother/daughter team is working with Hollywood Fashion Stylist, Roni Burks and New York based, Dream Designs. The conference attendees will get the first look at the Ashley Rose attire during the fashion show being planned for the opening day. There's more information to come on the Ashley Rose line and where it will be available for purchase.
