Now thatBryan Brown is becoming a familiar name with the music listener, it’s time to share what the media has to say about
SHINE, the debut project from this unique independent worship songwriter and leader. With comparisons to Matt Redman, Coldplay, Delirious?, Death Cab for Cutie, and touted as an “intricate” melodist,Brown has a gift for elevating people’s hearts and enveloping the listener with a deeper need for God. He is more than thrilled at the comments that have poured in for
SHINE, a CD available not only via Brown’s website but now on NoiseTrade.com. SHINE was produced by Stephen Gause (downhere, Nathan Angelo, Laura Story).
“This mix of lush musicianship and poetic reflections of worship ultimately make Brown's music dynamic and compelling. For someone who didn't even want to pursue worship in the first place, he delivers it extremely well—another reminder that God can use us in places where we least expect.”–

Upon hearing the first few strains of the album’s opening cut, “Shine”, the listener knows they aren’t in for the same kind of worship album that artists like Chris Tomlin makes - rather this is pure atmospheric, Brit-rock flavored stuff…done well.”

“For anyone who’s heard…Brown’s debut CD
SHINE, it’s clear he’s got the knack for marryinggorgeous melodies with congregationally friendly lyrics that are equally perfect for Sunday morning servicesor casual iPod listening.”

Christian Singlemagazine’s (LifeWay) October issue. In addition, Brown has signed with Monday Night Music booking agency, a subsidiary of Dryve Artist Management.
About Bryan Brown
Inspired by a variety of musical stylings, especially those hailing from the U.K. (Coldplay, Travis), Bryan Brown is primarily affected by UK-based worship leader and songwriter Matt Redman, who profoundly shaped his God-centered perspective on worship leading.
Brown debuted his own musical writings in 2004 with
Sing(released by Integrity Europe). Now a Nashville, Tennessee resident, he continues to utilize his craft as a worship songwriter while also leading worship at West End Community Church.
“I want to write and singthese songs in a way that others can sing along,” Brown explains. “Through that, I want people's emotions to be raised by the melody and by the truth they are singing. My job at that point is to direct those feelings andaffectionsto where they belong. Not to me, or a band, or a stage, but to God.
