With every stroke of the piano keys; Barry tells his story. The story of growing up fatherless, rejection, pain, hurt, victory, and joy. Growing up poor, Barry D. has overcome many obstacles. Today he celebrates life with his third releas, Handprint and many accolades.
Barry D. is the owner of his own music entertainment company, Taqa Entertainment. He has shared the stage with Phil Collins, Jaci Valesquesz, Out of Eden, Natalie Grant, Crystal Lewis, Helen Baylor and Others. Barry has written songs and produced for Marvin Sapp and RAIN. He also appears on over 20 recordings, some by Anastacia, R. Kelly, Donna Summer, and Changing Faces.
He is a past winner of the Billboard, John Lenon, and USA Songwriters Contests. He recently was voted as an official nominee of the 2005 GMA Music Awards. Today he is touring the globe with his incredible band supporting his Handprint release. |
