Internationally acclaimed UK artist DJ Andy Hunter recently released his six-song EP Life to critical acclaim. The artist's follow-up to 2002? full-length album Exodus, Life is a new collection of Hunter's signature ambient sound, supported by a greater use of guitars and live stringed instrumentation, and offers sonic images of Christ bringing new life to barren wasteland.

In promotion of the Life EP, Hunter will be making his first main stage appearance at the prestigious Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, IL on Friday, July 1. Hunter, who will be closing out the night for Skillet and tobyMac, has also been invited to teach two seminars on Saturday afternoon, "How to DJ" and "Lead Worship as a DJ," as well as to lead the music in the Dance Club later that night.

"For me, being a DJ isn't about being trendy," says Hunter. "It's an act of worship and inviting people to enter in. The focus is on God. It's about leading people into new places with music they haven't heard before."

Hunter's breakout success came with 2002's Exodus, which produced major film, TV and video game placements for his songs "Go" and "The Wonders of You" on The Matrix: Reloaded (trailer), the movie The Italian Job, ABC's "Alias" and the "Black Hawk Down" video game, among others. Hunter recently performed at the Microsoft-sponsored opening night party for Midem in Cannes, France, and he was featured at the "Digital Entertainment Anywhere" Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 launch event in Los Angeles, hosted by Microsoft Corp. chairman and chief software architect Bill Gates.
