CCM pioneer Amy Grant has left yet another mark in her celebrated career, this time on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Grant was joined by friends and fans and her husband Vince Gill on Tuesday as she was honored with her spot on the famed boulevard.

"I see all my family, co-workers and friends and I have to say nothing happens alone," Grant, 45, told the crowd. "Life is like a massive vessel. You don't sail alone, and sometimes I feel like the naked lady on the front of the ship. ... It's been an exciting ride."

Grant, who recorded her first album in 1977, has been a mainstay on the contemporary Christian music scene, having released nearly 20 albums in her career span. Her newest CD, "Time Again ... Amy Grant Live," will be released next week.
