Ami Rushes expands her territory and enlists producer/director Stephen Yake to shoot the video for There's A Lifting Of The Hands, the first single off her upcoming contemporary Christian CD "Refreshed," in stores October 6.

The shoot will take place today, August 25th & 26th at Pastors' Danny and Jillian Chambers Oasis Worship Center at 7533 Lord's Chapel Way, and will include live-audience footage from the 7PM mid-week worship service where Rushes will sing two songs from Refreshed, "There's A Lifting Of The Hands" and "The Happy Song."

With six videos and three gospel CD's under her belt, Refreshed will mark Rushes first contemporary Christian project described as an ongoing praise & worship treat where Rushes captures the essence of life, energy, spirit, hope and encouragement.

"Praise & Worship music is universal," said Rushes. "I decided to record a contemporary Christian project because I believe my music is universal appealing to not only the gospel community but to all who love the Lord."

Produced by award-winning Kurt Carr, Refreshed consists of powerful songs that appeal to both the contemporary Christian listener and gospel music lovers.

A true testimony of a woman who loves the Lord, Rushes has put together a 10-song project that is sure to bless and capture the essence of worship.

The Happy Song speaks of the Lord's great love and salvation, El Shaddai is about our all sufficient God and His awesome Love, He Touched Me, Bill Gaither's great song, talks about God's deliverance and restoration that happens when we receive a touch from the Lord; Through It All, written by Andrae Crouch reminds us that whatever happens in our lives only gives us the opportunity to trust and depend on the Lord and see His healing, delivering power at work, Ordinary People, by the late Danniebelle Hall, speaks of how God uses "plain ole ordinary folks" to work extraordinary miracles; In Christ Alone tells us that all our trust, hope and our very life is in Christ alone, There's A Lifting of the Hands is a song of inspiration and hope and lets the listener know that there is a lifting for the problems we face; Worship Medley is composed of three songs: Praise The Name of Jesus, There is None Like You and There's Something About That Name that is sure to bring the listener into the realm of true worship.
